WHAT IS FLAVAMED AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
Flavamed a mucus-thinning medicine, used to treat respiratory diseases.
Flavamed used to treat lung and bronchial diseases, which generates viscous mucus. It liquefies viscous mucus and help to pass it out.

BEFORE YOU TAKE FLAVAMED
Do not take Flavamed
- If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the active substance (ambroxol hydrochloride) or any of the other ingredients;
- Less than 6 years of age.

Take special care with:
- If in the past you were very serious hypersensitivity reactions (Stevens-Johnson,
Lyell's syndrome).
Stevens-Johnson syndrome is a disease in which the patient is a high temperature, and skin and mucous membranes
blistering rash appears.
Life threatening Lyell syndrome is also called the scalded skin syndrome. This is when
It produces large blisters, similar to sunburn.

Therefore, if you notice a skin or mucous membrane lesions, immediately stop using. Contact your doctor immediately!

- If you have impaired kidney function or if you have severe liver disease. In such cases Flavamed only be used with caution
- If you suffer from a rare disease when increased bronchial secretion production (eg ciliary inferiority syndrome).

Children

HOW TO TAKE FLAVAMED
6-12 years old - Half of the tablet 2-3 times a day (equivalent to 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride 2-3 times).

The maximum daily dose - One and a half tablets (equivalent to 45 mg ambroxol hydrochloride)

Older than 12 years of age and adults -
The first 2-3 days one tablet three times a day (equivalent to 30 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride three times a day), then
one tablet 2 times a day (equivalent to 30 mg ambroxol hydrochloride 2 times a day)

The maximum daily dose - Three tablets (equivalent to 90 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride)

In adults, the dose may be increased to two tablets 2 times a day.

Method of administration
Flavamed 30 mg tablets are best swallowed whole after a meal with a sufficient fluid (eg., Water, tea or juice) content.
The tablet can be divided into two equal parts.

Duration of use
Flavamed 30 mg tablets can not be used for longer than 4-5 days without a doctor's orders.
If your symptoms do not improve after 4-5 days or even worsens, seek medical attention.
If you feel that Flavamed 30 mg tablets is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Flavamed, like all medicines, can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Side effects of the frequency used to describe such a classification.
Very common: more than 1 in 10 patients.
Common: less than 1 in 10 patients but more than 1 in 100 patients.
Uncommon: less than 1 in 100 patients but more than 1 in 1,000 patients.
Rare: less than 1 in 1,000 patients but more than 1 in 10,000 patients.
Very rare: less than 1 in 10,000 patients, or unknown (can not be determined from the available data).

Gastrointestinal disorders
Uncommon: nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting.

Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders
Very rare: severe skin reactions such .; Lyell and Stevens-Johnson syndrome

General disorders and administration site conditions
Uncommon: hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rash, facial swelling (edema), respiratory disorder, itching, fever.
Rare: severe allergic (anaphylactic) reactions, even shock.

Treatment
If you find that you get one or more of the following side effects occur, immediately stop the treatment.
If you get any side effects or if you notice any side effects not listed, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

HOW TO STORE FLAVAMED
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not store above 25 ° C.

Flavamed composition
- The active substance ambroxol hydrochloride. Each tablet contains 30 mg ambroxol
hydrochloride.
- The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, corn starch, cellulose powder,
