WHAT DICLAC GEL AND WHAT IT IS USED
Diclac gel product with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect (NSAID - NSAIDs).
What is Diclac gel
For topical administration to relieve pain, inflammation and edema in:
rheumatic diseases of soft tissues (inflammation of the tendons and ligaments - tendinitis, bursitis and tendovaginitis, painful shoulder stiffness, inflammation of muscles and joints);
degenerative joint diseases (arthroses of small and large joints) of the limbs and the spine;
sports and household injuries (sprains, bruises, sprains).
2. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU USE DICLAC GEL
Do not use gel Diclac
if you are allergic to diclofenac or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);
to open wounds, damaged skin areas, inflammation or infection of the skin;
mucous membranes;
if the administration of acetylsalicylic acid / aspirin or other NSAIDs get an asthma attack, rash or fever;
in children and adolescents;
in the last three months of pregnancy.
Warnings and Precautions
if you suffer from asthma, hay fever, nasal polyps (swelling of the nasal mucosa), chronic lung disease or chronic respiratory infections (symptoms similar to hay fever);
if you are hypersensitive to anti products from all groups, there is a higher risk of asthma attacks (ie. intolerance to analgesics / analgesic asthma), local swelling of the skin and mucosa (ie. pomegranate. edema edema) or urticaria upon administration of Diclac gel than other patients. In these patients Diclac gel can be applied only under certain precautions and follow-up by a physician. The same applies to patients who develop allergic reactions to other substances that occur with skin reactions, itching or hives;
Care must be taken not gel comes into contact with eyes or mucous membranes.
Other medicines and Diclac gel
Unlikely to occur drug interactions when administering Diclac gel. However, you should inform your doctor if at the same time taking or have recently taken any other medicines.
Children and adolescents
Diclac 5% gel should not be used in children and adolescents, since this group does not have enough data for this age group.
Fertility, pregnancy and lactation
Women of childbearing age
There is no evidence to suggest recommendations for women of childbearing age.
pregnancy
As there are insufficient data on the safety of diclofenac gel in pregnant women, diclofenac gel should not be used during pregnancy. Diclofenac Gel is contraindicated especially in the last three months of pregnancy.
breastfeeding
Since it is not known whether topical administration diclofenac passes into breast milk, use during lactation is not recommended. If there are compelling reasons for the use of diclofenac gel during breastfeeding should avoid applying in the area around the chest and continued use.
Fertility
No evidence of effects on human fertility.
Important information about some of the ingredients of the gel Diclac
Diclac 5% gel contains alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) and therefore should not be in contact with open wounds, mucous membranes or eyes.
3. HOW TO USE DICLAC GEL
It is recommended that the following dosage unless your doctor has prescribed Diclac gel in another dosing regimen. Please follow those instructions for use. Otherwise Diclac will not work correctly.
Diclac gel is applied as a thin layer on the respective areas of the skin 2-3 times a day.
Be rubbed into the skin. Do not take by mouth.
Diclac gel is suitable for use when carrying out iontophoresis. This form of electrotherapy enhances skin penetration. Diclac gel should be applied at the negative pole (cathode).
The product can be administered 3 to 7 days, depending on the case.
If you use more than the amount Diclac
If the gel was applied in significantly greater quantities than recommended or ingestion, symptoms of overdose may include: dizziness, headache, impaired consciousness, abnormal breathing, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal bleeding disorders liver and renal function, and seizures in children. Tell your doctor, who will focus on the clinical picture in the treatment of overdosage.
The gel should be removed and washed with water, if you exceed the recommended dose administration.
If you forget to use Diclac
If you forgot to apply the product, continue to use it regularly.
Please consult your doctor if you are unsure of the interruption or premature termination of therapy.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Diclac gel can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Rarely can occur local skin reactions such as redness, itching, burning skin, skin rashes, incl. with formation of bubbles and urticaria.
Diclac gel may rarely cause hypersensitivity reactions or called. local allergic reactions (contact dermatitis).
In very rare cases, diclofenac gel can cause asthma attack or photosensitivity reaction.
If Diclac gel is applied over large areas of the skin for a prolonged period of time can not be ruled out the occurrence of systemic side effects affecting certain organ systems throughout the body, or even similar to those which can occur in use of diclofenac through the oral or intramuscular or intravenous administration

5. HOW TO STORE DICLAC GEL
Store at temperatures below 25 ° C.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use Diclac gel after the expiry date stated on the packaging. Shelf life after first opening of the tube is 12 months.

What Diclac gel
The active ingredient is diclofenac sodium. 1 g of gel contains 50 mg diclofenac sodium.
The other ingredients are: hypromellose, macrogol - 7 glycerol cocoate, aromatic substance, purified water.
